E-paper

E-paper is also known as electronic paper, electronic ink display or radio paper.
An e-paper is a portable technology which is designed to appear like ordinary ink on paper. It is capable of holding text and images indefinitely (just like ordinary paper) without electricity while allowing for the image to be changed later indeterminately.
An e-paper display can be read in direct sunlight without the image seeming like it is fading away.
However an e-paper should not be confused with a digital paper which is a pad that creates handwritten digital documents with a digital pen.
The image above shows a form of e-paper developed by Toppan forms and SiPix imaging which is flexible and ultra thin.
