E-papers have the potential to be used in many organizational fields seeing as they have the ability to eventually replace paper.
Since the e-paper can be used in place of books and newspapers they can be very advantageous to schools and universities in general. Currently, e-books sell for almost half the price that regular books sell for. This would mean lower prices for students using the books and also the libraries.
For advertising agencies that deal with billboards, the e-paper would help because they would save time in setting up the advertisements since everything would be done electronically.
E-papers have the potential to be used in packaging industries whereby they could be used for updating prices and also for providing the dynamics on expiration dates.
Other advantages include that they are easy to carry, portable, flexible, robust, durable they also use low energy and even better they are easy to use.
Moreover, in banks and hospitals, e-papers can be used as a better means of filing and thus eliminate such things as filing rooms. This would provide better use of space.
With organizations striving for products that are environmentally friendly the e-paper is exactly what they are looking for since it is reusable because it can be written over so many times and also as it takes over from regular papers it minimizes the amount of trees that have to be cut in the production of regular paper.
